LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led Punjab government is set to launch the iPad and laptop program for students across the province.
According to the sources, the comprehensive framework for the launch of the iPad and laptop distribution scheme will be ready in three to four weeks as Maryam Nawaz last month ordered authorities to begin the student survey for the scheme across Punjab.
On March 7, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz chaired a meeting in Lahore to review the higher education scholarships and iPad scheme.

She ordered a thorough plan for the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF). Speaking at the meeting, she stated that after assessing students’ usage, a decision would be taken on the distribution of iPads and laptops. Furthermore, She vowed to develop higher education and other institutions on modern lines.
The launch date of the government’s planned distribution of iPads and laptops to students will be announced next month.
As per details, students will have to apply online for the Punjab iPad and laptop scheme. However, further details will be available after the Punjab government discloses a comprehensive plan next month.
