Karachi weather forecast: Rain with thunderstorm expected in the city

Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said that there is no chance of rain in Karachi, but there is a possibility of rain with strong winds and thunder in some areas of the city.

The Meteorological Department says that the weather will remain cloudy in the city because western winds have left Sindh.

The current temperature in Karachi is 28 degrees Celsius, while humidity is recorded at 61%, with light winds blowing from the west.

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Karachi is likely to be 30 to 32 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, there is a possibility of light rain in some areas of Sindh.

Earlier, several areas of Karachi, including Maripur, North Karachi, Gulistan Johar, Gurdwanah, Sadar, Soldier Bazar, Airport, and Clifton, received thundershowers.

The highest rainfall was recorded in Sarjani Town, at 34 mm, followed by 21.2 mm in Nazimabad, 20 mm in Gulshan Hadid, and 19 mm in Faisal Beis.

On the other hand, 18 mm in Masroor Base, 17 mm in Korangi, 15.7 mm in University Road, 15.1 mm in Old Airport, 15 mm in Saadi Town and North Karachi, 14.4 mm in Orangi Town, and 13 mm in Sadar. 12 mm of rain was recorded in Miller, 5.5 mm in the Defense Housing Society (DHA), and 5 mm in Quaidabad.
