LDA & MCL Conduct Joint Anti-Encroachment Drive in Lahore

Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) and Municipal Corporation Lahore (MCL) have collaborated on a continued effort to remove encroachments and address cattle-related issues in the city.

Working in tandem, teams from LDA and MCL conducted operations in various areas, including LDA Avenue-I and Jubilee Town, targeting illegal cattle sheds and encroachments along main roads and residential areas. Numerous unauthorized structures were demolished during these operations, and over 12 cattle were seized by the MCL.

Supervised by LDA Avenue-I Director Rehan Athar, the joint teams, supported by police personnel and heavy machinery, carried out the operations efficiently.

Muhammad Ali Randhawa, the Director General of LDA, has instructed for the continuation of indiscriminate operations against encroachments, violations of building bylaws, and illegal cattle sheds in residential areas across Lahore.
