ISLAMABAD: Officials confirmed that the Metro Bus service in Rawalpindi will remain suspended during the movement of teams participating in the Pakistan-Sri Lanka-Zimbabwe T20 tri-nation series.

According to Metro Bus officials, the service will be temporarily suspended to ensure security and smooth movement during the series. This decision has been taken on the instructions of the district administration.

Rehmanabad, Khatm-e-Nabuwwat and Faizabad stations will remain closed during the match hours, while services at other stations will continue as usual.

Metro officials said that the temporary closure is part of the security arrangements to facilitate the movement of the team and handle the expected traffic load around the cricket venues.

The Pakistan-Sri Lanka-Zimbabwe T20 tri-nation series will be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore from November 17 to 29. The event is expected to draw a large crowd, with fans eager to see all three teams in action ahead of the international T20 season.
