Islamabad: In anticipation of an upcoming spell of snowfall in Pakistan’s renowned hill station Murree and its surrounding regions, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued a proactive alert to ensure the safety of tourists and residents alike.

The PDMA has taken decisive measures to mitigate any potential risks posed by the inclement weather conditions, ordering all relevant departments to remain vigilant and prepared. As a new westerly wave is expected to sweep across the nation, Murree and its neighboring areas are gearing up for cold temperatures and heavy snowfall.

In light of the forecasted stormy rain and snowfall, visitors have been advised to exercise caution and take necessary precautions while traveling to Murree, Galiyat, and adjacent areas over the weekend and in the days ahead.
