ISLAMABAD:  In a three-page medical report of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif presented to the Lahore High Court, it is said that the doctors have strongly recommended Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz supremo to not travel home as it may further deteriorate his health.

Presented by Advocate Amjad Pervaiz, the report penned by Dr. Fayyaz Shawal said that Nawaz should not leave London before his angiography, continue his medications and walks with corona precautions. It said that Nawaz should conduct his day-to-day affairs without taking any mental stress.

The report said that Nawaz is under serious mental pressure especially after the demise of his wife, and that can exacerbate his illness. The doctor said that he can be contacted in case of any query in regards to the medical report.

Fawad Chaudhry calls medical report ‘fake’

Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, meanwhile, raised questions over the credibility of the report by calling it fake. He said that the doctor presented as authority resides in the United States of America, while Nawaz is being treated in London, United Kingdom.

“Pakistan’s judicial system is being ridiculed by the report. Hope the courts take notice of it,” he said. “The report by a personal doctor says that Nawaz can travel only around Hyde Park area.”

Nawaz has only one option left – he has to give back the looted wealth to the people of Pakistan, he added.
