NCCIA issued notice to Aleema Khan over ‘anti-state social media activities’

ISLAMABAD: Aleema Khan, the elder sister of jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has been issued a notice for her anti-state social media activities.

As per the media reports, the notice has been issued by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) and Aleema Khan has been directed to appear at the NCCIA office in Gulberg II area of Lahore at 11:30 am on July 17 (today).

According to the notice, Aleema Khan has been summoned to record a statement in her defense. The notice states that action has been initiated against Aleema Khan on May 27, 2025 under inquiry number 2531/25.

The notice states that the NCCIA will assume that Aleema Khan has nothing to say in her defense if she does not appear before the investigators.

The notice states that if Aleema Khan does not appear before the investigators, legal action will be taken against her under Article 174.

NCCIA is an agency that works under the Ministry of Interior of Pakistan.
