Ducky bhai
LAHORE: The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has once again requested additional time from the court to submit its report on the application for the return of YouTuber Ducky Bhai’s social media accounts and ATM cards. The court has granted the request and directed the agency to submit the report by December 15.
Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo presided over the hearing on Ducky Bhai’s application for the release of his confiscated property. During the proceedings, the NCCIA’s lawyer informed the court that the investigating officer was currently in Islamabad and had not yet returned the case file.
The lawyer further stated that Shoaib Riaz had still not returned the case file. At this point, the judge questioned Ducky Bhai’s lawyer about how his client operates YouTube.
The lawyer responded, explaining: “Sir, the main account is with NCCIA. The account in question was only an editor account.”
As per details, Ducky Bhai’s counsel argued that this was a simple superdari (custody) request, and since all electronic devices and mobile phones were already in NCCIA’s possession, the agency should also return his client’s four credit cards and the amount of cash seized.
The court accepted the NCCIA’s request for an extension and ordered the agency to submit the required report by December 15, after which the hearing was adjourned.
NCCIA has already registered a case against the suspects involved.
