Negotiations on development budget between the PML-N & PPP were successful

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal said that the government and allies have reached an agreement on the PSDP, and the federal government will spend more money on small provinces in the next fiscal year’s budget.

Balochistan will receive the most funds and Punjab the least. Rs265 billion will be spent on Balochistan’s development projects. The federal government will spend Rs195 billion on Sindh’s development projects in the next budget.

98 billion has been allocated in KP, Rs72 billion for Punjab’s development projects, and Rs150 billion has been allocated for Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

He further said that the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway project will be started this year, and the federal government will also allocate funds for the K-4 project in the budget.
