ISLAMABAD: An online fingerprint verification process for passport applications is now available. Applicants were experiencing problems in terms of fingerprint verification, whereas now, with the help of NADRA, an advanced and efficient system of verification has been introduced through the Pak ID app.
With this system, individuals applying for passports through online platforms will be able to check their fingerprints from the comfort of their homes.
Under the system, the fingerprints of individuals will be authenticated through the Pak ID app by comparing them with the database of NADRA, and there is no need to go to the passport offices for the verification of fingerprints.
With this new system, passport application processes will attain transparency and speed, in addition to cutting down on time and expenses.
