Last day for Afghan migrants

Today is the last day for illegal immigrants living in Pakistan to leave the country, thousands of Afghans are returning to their homeland daily from Torkham and Chaman border in view of government orders.

According to the report, on October 30, 11,553 Afghans left their country, including 3,153 men, 2,823 women and 5,577 children.

487 families were repatriated in 512 vehicles to Afghanistan and this process continues on a daily basis.

So far, a total of 144,481 Afghan refugees have returned to their homeland.

In various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, temporary accommodation of illegal persons has been well arranged, camps for illegal persons have been established by the Government of Pakistan, all the necessities of life are provided in the camps established for illegal persons. Facilities are provided.

Regarding their return to their homeland, the Afghan residents expressed their opinion and said that we are happy with the decision of the government of Pakistan to return the illegal people to their homeland, we worked in Pakistan with dignity, the attitude of the Pakistan Army is also very good towards us. is good.

Afghan citizens said that we came without documents, now inshallah we will come legally, we are satisfied with the government of Pakistan, no harm was done to us, we had a great time in Pakistan.

Afghans are happy to return to their homeland but also sad to leave Pakistan.
