My mission is to make the country stand on its feet: Nawaz Sharif

In a heartening development, Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Nawaz Sharif has kicked off the party’s election campaign from Hafizabad. Addressing a public gathering, Sharif expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and affection he received from the people of the city.

Recalling fond memories, Sharif remarked that Hafizabad holds a special place in his heart, emphasizing the love and support he has received from the residents over the years. He highlighted the warm welcome extended to his sister, Maryam, and other party members, fostering an atmosphere of boundless affection.

The seasoned leader noted that while he had visited the city before, the current enthusiasm and zeal witnessed during this campaign were unprecedented. Sharif acknowledged the reciprocal love and support, expressing that the sentiments he holds for the people of Hafizabad are reflected in their affection towards him.

During his speech, Nawaz Sharif shared his experiences of being outside the country, stating that every moment was spent with thoughts of the people of Pakistan. He reflected on the challenges faced in 2017 when he was removed from office, emphasizing that the decision was solely based on denying his son a salary. The former Prime Minister conveyed his belief in the progress and prosperity of Pakistan, urging the gathered crowd to support him in realizing the vision of a developed and thriving nation. He highlighted the role his party played in addressing issues such as load shedding and terrorism.
