Notification issued for up to 28% increase in LNG prices

ISLAMABAD: OGRA has issued a notification for an increase in LNG prices by up to 28% for May.

According to the notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of LNG for Sui Southern has been increased by $3.51 per MMBTU, after which the new price of LNG for Sui Southern has been set at $16.04 per MMBTU.

Similarly, LNG for the Sui Northern system has become expensive by $3.43 per MMBTU, after which the new price of LNG on the Sui Northern system has been set at $16.98 per MMBTU.

Sources have said that due to the delay in the authority’s decision, there has been an extraordinary delay in determining the prices for May.
