PESHAWAR: The house requisition allowance for employees has been increased, which will apply to all employees and officers from Grade 3 to Grade 22.
According to the details, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has given good news for the secretariat employees and approved a significant increase in the house requisition allowance.
A formal notification has been issued by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Department in this regard.
The official announcement said that this increase will apply to all employees and officers from Grade 3 to Grade 22 of the Civil Secretariat, Chief Minister’s Secretariat, and Governor’s Secretariat.
The announcement issued by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Department said that under the new rates, employees of Grades 3 to 6 will be given Rs 6,000, Grades 7 to 10 will be given Rs 9,000, Grades 11 to 13 will be given Rs 13,000, and Grades 14 and 15 will be given Rs 16,000 per month.
According to the announcement, Grade 16 employees will get Rs 18,000, Grade 17 and 18 officers Rs 21,000, Grade 19 Rs 28,000, Grade 20 Rs 35,000, Grade 21 Rs 42,000, while Grade 22 officers will get Rs 52,000 as monthly house requisition allowance.
According to the Finance Department, the new rates of house requisition allowance have been implemented from July 1, 2026.
On the other hand, the KP government has increased the special conveyance allowance of disabled government employees.
The Finance Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued a notification to increase the special conveyance allowance.
The monthly special conveyance allowance of disabled government employees has been increased from Rs 6,000 to Rs 10,000. The increase has been implemented from July 1, 2026.
