ISLAMABAD: Pakistani passport has advanced three levels and reached the 100th rank. In the latest ranking of the Henley Passport Index for the year 2026, the ranking of Pakistani passports has improved significantly.
According to this ranking, the Pakistani passport has moved up three ranks to the 100th position; compared to last year, the Pakistani passport was at the 103rd position in the list.
According to the report, following recent improvements, Pakistani passport holders can now travel to 30 countries around the world without a visa (Visa-Free or Visa-on-Arrival).
This is the first time since 2015 that the Pakistani passport has again secured the 100th position.
In this global index based on IATA data, the Singaporean passport has been declared the most powerful passport in the world with access to 192 visa-free countries.
After that, the United Arab Emirates, Japan and South Korea jointly occupy the second place, whose citizens have the facility of visa-free entry to 188 countries. On the other hand, Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan are at the bottom of the list.
30 countries offer visa-free or visa-on-arrival for those traveling on Pakistani passports.
Including Asia and the Middle East: Nepal, Maldives, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Timor-Leste; Africa: Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Seychelles, Somalia and Madagascar; Caribbean and others: Barbados, Dominica, Haiti and Trinidad and Tobago.
Apart from this, more than 50 countries, including Turkey, Malaysia, Thailand, Qatar and Emirates also provide an online facility of e-Visa to Pakistanis.
