Only politicians know Pakistan’s issues: Asif Zardari

HUB: Former President and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari reaffirmed the significance of politicians in understanding and resolving Pakistan’s issues during a public gathering related to the 2024 elections.

Zardari emphasized that democracy remains the only viable solution to the nation’s crises, stressing PPP’s commitment to upholding democratic principles despite facing injustices. He highlighted PPP’s longstanding advocacy for democracy and pledged to continue this fight.

Expressing concern over the absence of an “ideal democracy” in Pakistan, Zardari underscored the unique understanding of national issues possessed by politicians. He outlined his dedication to safeguarding the rights of people in Balochistan, citing efforts to boost the province’s budget and improve its law and order situation.

Zardari envisioned a prosperous future for Balochistan, envisioning economic growth and increased investment opportunities, particularly in areas like Hub. He concluded by affirming that democracy is crucial for Balochistan’s survival and urged those involved in armed struggle to consider the benefits of democratic governance.
