‘Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq’: 464 Taliban operatives killed, 665 wounded in ongoing operation

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar stated that a total of 464 Afghan Taliban personnel have been killed, while over 665 others have been injured so far in the current Operation Ghazab-Lil-Haq.

While sharing an update regarding the Afghan Taliban’s losses on X, the federal minister added that the armed forces had destroyed 188 border posts, while 31 of them were taken into their custody.

Furthermore, 192 enemy tanks, armoured vehicles, and artillery guns have been destroyed, while 56 locations in Afghanistan have been effectively targeted through air strikes.

67 Afghan Taliban killed in Balochistan, KP

67 Afghan Taliban have been killed in overnight operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, according to the Federal Minister for Information, Attaullah Tarar.

In a special update released on the social media platform X, Tarar said that under ‘Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq’, Afghan Taliban attacks in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been effectively thwarted.

According to the Information Minister, in northern Balochistan, the Afghan Taliban carried out physical attacks at 16 different locations in Qila Saifullah, Nushki, and Chaman districts, while trying to target security forces through fire raids at 25 locations.

However, all the attacks were successfully repelled. 27 Afghan Taliban were killed, and several were injured during the operation.

A youth from FC Balochistan North was martyred while 5 personnel were injured during the defense of the homeland.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, an attack was also attempted at one location while fire raids were conducted at 12 locations, which were thwarted without any casualties.

Forty Afghan Taliban were killed during overnight operations in the province. The follow-up operation is still ongoing, and a detailed briefing will be issued in the afternoon, according to the Information Minister.
