ISLAMABAD: There is good news for overseas Pakistanis that they can now easily bring vehicles to Pakistan.
Millions of Pakistanis are living in many countries around the world for employment. Thousands of them want to bring vehicles to their homeland under the Overseas Pakistanis Gift Scheme, but strict laws often complicate the process.
However, by changing the policy for importing vehicles, the condition of prior registration in the name of the person sending the vehicle to Pakistan as a gift has been removed and vehicles can now be imported as gifts from any country.
This change in the law is likely to simplify the process of importing vehicles and make the arrangements for gifting vehicles much easier for overseas Pakistanis.
