NAIROBI/ISLAMABAD (Rizwan Abbasi): A simple yet dignified flag hoisting ceremony was held at the High Commission for Pakistan in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, on the occasion of Pakistan Day.
A large number of members of the Pakistani community, along with Pakistani-origin residents in Kenya from various walks of life, attended the event.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the reading of special messages from the President, the Prime Minister, and the Deputy Prime Minister. Senior members of the community also shared their views, highlighting the significance of Pakistan Day and emphasizing national unity.
While addressing the gathering, High Commissioner Abrar Hussain Khan urged the community to remain united, promote a positive image of Pakistan, and dedicate themselves to upholding the principles upon which the country was founded.
