ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Wendesday dispatched the first humanitarian assistance for the people of Lebanon, who have been subjected to the Israeli atrocities from last month.
“This humanitarian aid package was a collective effort involving NDMA, Pakistan Army, and Al-Khidmat Foundation,” the NDMA said in a statement.
Moreover, the officials of Ministry of Foreign Affaris, NDMA, Armed Forces and representatives of Al-Khidmat Foundation attended the send-off ceremony at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi.
Earleir today, a chartered flight carrying 71 stranded Pakistanis from Lebanon and Syria landed at Karachi Airport. Upon their arrival, the evacuees were welcomed by Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori, Federal Minister Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, and Sindh Industries Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo.
On Septemebr 30, Pakistan dispatched its 10th relief consignment, consisting of 40 tons of essential medicines, to Palestinian in war-raged Gaza. The consignment was sent from Karachi Airport, destined for Amman, Jordan, and will be transferred to Gaza from there.
