LAHORE: Pakistan Railways has announced the operation of four special trains for Eid-ul-Fitr to accommodate increased passenger demand.
The first Eid special will depart from Lahore to Karachi on March 16. The second will run from Quetta to Rawalpindi on March 17, while the third train will leave Karachi for Peshawar on the same day. The fourth special train will operate from Karachi to Lahore on March 18.
The Minister of Railways issued directives to operate special Eid trains because he wanted to deliver better passenger service during Eid-ul-Fitr.
Authorities recommended that travelers should prepare their trips beforehand and use official railway information to receive accurate travel updates.
