QUETTA: The government has suspended the Jaffar Express service between Peshawar and Quetta indefinitely, here on Tuesday.
According to railway officials, train operations have not resumed in the Godar region even after a week. The suspension follows a terrorist attack on the Jaffar Express from Quetta to Peshawar last week, during which passengers were taken hostage.
Railway sources have confirmed that the service will remain suspended until further orders from higher authorities.
