ISLAMABAD: The government of Pakistan has decided to provide the facility to citizens to apply for passports from home.
The technical team of NADRA participated in the meeting chaired by DG Passports Muhammad Ali Randhawa, during which important decisions were approved.
The meeting reviewed the current passport system in detail and various reforms were considered to make it compatible with modern requirements. During the meeting, a briefing was given on introducing new technology and updating existing policies according to the vision of the Interior Minister. During the meeting, it was also decided to provide the facility to citizens to apply for passports from home.
