Pakistan weather update: PMD forecasts rain & snowfall in different areas!

ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in various areas and snowfall at a few places.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to be dry in most parts of the country, while the hilly areas are likely to be cold at night and in the morning.

The weather is likely to be dry in Islamabad and its surroundings, while the weather will be cold in Murree, Galiyat and its surroundings. Smog is expected to remain in Lahore, Gujrat, Nawala, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara and Faisalabad.

Smog is also likely to remain in Sialkot, Khanewal, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur and Multan. Rain is expected at a few places in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan and Kurram.

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall at a few places in Gilgit-Baltistan, while the weather is expected to be dry and cold in Azad Kashmir.

The weather is likely to be dry and cold in most districts of Balochistan, while the weather is expected to be partly cloudy in the southeastern coastal areas of Sindh.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to continuous dry weather and air pollution, the districts of eastern Punjab are expected to remain under the influence of smog. Citizens have been advised to take precautionary measures.

During the last 24 hours, the weather remained dry in most parts of the country while it remained cold in the hilly areas. Smog prevailed in the eastern districts of Punjab.
