Pakistan weather update: PMD predicts dry weather across most parts of country

ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted dry weather in most parts of the country.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain dry in most parts of the country today, while it is likely to remain cold in the mountainous areas in the morning and night.

Due to continuous dry weather and air pollution, the districts of eastern Punjab are expected to remain under the influence of smog. Citizens have been instructed to take precautionary measures.

The weather is likely to remain cold in Islamabad and its surroundings, while the weather will remain dry in Murree, Galiyat and its surroundings. The weather is likely to remain dry and cold in most districts of Balochistan.

Smog is expected to remain in Sialkot, Khanewal, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, Multan, Lahore, Gujranwala, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara and Faisalabad.

The weather is likely to remain partly cloudy in the southeastern coastal areas of Sindh, while the weather will remain dry and cold in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The weather is likely to remain dry and cold in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

During the last 24 hours, the weather remained dry in most parts of the country while it remained cold in the hilly areas. Smog remained in the eastern districts of Punjab.
