Pakistan weather update: PMD predicts rain in THESE areas!

ISLAMABAD: On Monday and Tuesday, the weather is likely to be cold and partly cloudy in most parts of the country. Severe cold is expected in the hilly areas and northern districts in the morning and night.

Rain is expected at a few places in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and northwestern Balochistan and light snowfall is expected in the mountains.

According to the Meteorological Department, fog or smog will prevail in the plains of Punjab, upper Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the morning and night, some places may be severely affected.

The minimum temperature recorded in some cities today is as follows: Leh -5°C, Skardu -3°C, Bagroot -2°C, Parachinar 0°C.

The weather is likely to be cold and partly cloudy in Islamabad and its surroundings on both days. Light rain and snowfall may occur at a few places in the northern and central districts of Balochistan.

The weather is dry in most districts of Sindh, while fog is likely to occur in the morning and night. Overall, cold weather and fog or smog are expected in most parts of the country, with light rain or snowfall in mountainous areas.
