Pakistan weather update: PMD predicts rain with strong winds in THESE cities!

ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain with strong winds and thunderstorms in various cities.

According to the Meteorological Department, the western wave will enter the western parts of the country on February 16, the effects of which will be seen in different parts of the country.

Under the influence of the western wave, rain is likely to occur in Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Nokundi, Dalbandin and Noshki, Harnai, Zhob, Kalat, Mastung, Barkhan, Sibi, Loralai, Khuzdar, Kech, Turbat, Panjgur, Gwadar, and Lasbela on February 16 and 17.

Rain with strong winds and thunderstorms is expected in Karachi and Hyderabad from February 17, while clouds are also likely in Thatta, Badin, Jamshoro, Dadu and Sukkur.

Light to moderate rain may occur in Waziristan, Bannu, DI Khan and Kurram on February 16 and 17, while hail is also likely in DI Khan. Additionally, light rain is expected in DG Khan, Multan, Bhakkar and Bahawalpur.
