ISLAMABAD: A vicious dark web ring has been exposed as predators are selling pornographic videos of Pakistani girls online, earning millions.
The shocking operation revealed how a Mandi Bahauddin man, along with his associates, lured young women to record pornographic videos under the false assurance of hiding their faces by luring them with between Rs 50,000 and Rs 100,000.
But behind the scenes, the monster was secretly uploading the footage to pornographic sites, and the dark web, where criminals from around the world trade in human suffering. The accused even swore on the holy book to gain the trust of the victims, showed them pictures of other exploited women, and in some cases, threatened them with weapons before recording the pornographic material.
Investigators say the man targeted poor women working in government and private offices. His confidence in running this sick trade stunned even the sting team, as he openly bragged that the girls could make “big money” if they gave in to his demands.
The dark web, often described as the no-go area of the internet, is a hidden network where drugs, weapons, human trafficking, and pornographic exploitation are sold like commodities. This latest image has once again exposed how predators in Pakistan are connecting local victims to the global criminal web.
Authorities have now warned that thousands of Pakistani men and women have already fallen victim to this nefarious trade, their private lives secretly sold to dark web buyers.
