Pakistan’s Muhammad Bashar wins fourth place in Algeria Quran recitation contest

ISLAMABAD: A Pakistani boy from Swat, has made the nation proud by winning the fourth position in the international Quran recitation competition held in Algeria.

Muhammad Bashar’s success reflects the strong cultural and spiritual ties between Islamabad and Algeria. The young achiever took part in the “Mazamir Dawood” international Quranic recitation competition in Algeria, organized by the private media channel “Echorouk.” Participants from more than 15 countries participated in the event, which was held from August 18 to 31. Muhammad Bashar took fourth place, winning a $1,500 prize.

Echorouk Channel hosts this annual competition to highlight the talent of young Quran reciters around the world. The Algerian Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments organizes an international Quranic competition every year under the patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

Pakistan’s continuous participation in these events further strengthens the cultural and spiritual ties between the two countries.

Muhammad Bashar’s success in this prestigious competition not only honours his country but also emphasizes the common values ​​and strong ties between Pakistan and Algeria.
