ISLAMABAD: Cashless transactions are now operational at all passport offices of Pakistan. Starting today, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi says, “Cashless transactions are operational at all passport offices across Pakistan.”
The new system will enable citizens to avail passport services much faster than ever before without facing the hassles of standing in long queues waiting for payment processing.
“Reform has been introduced under the guidance of PM (Prime Minister)Shehbaz Sharif,” he told reporters after introducing the reform. “This is one more step towards betterment of public service delivery with a focus to make its process faster, transparent, and convenient for citizenry.”
“I appreciate the effort made by the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports team during this implementation of the reform. I assure you that we are continuously working on other areas for improvement in our public services as well.”
