LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is preparing to tackle multiple disciplinary issues concerning national cricket team players.
This action follows a media report indicating that the PCB will review three comprehensive reports on player conduct, compiled by the team’s head coach, manager, and an independent intelligence agency.
To address these issues thoroughly, the PCB has formed a special committee to review the reports carefully. According to the media report, a former national team captain will head this committee.
The committee will be crucial in analyzing the reports and making recommendations based on its findings. These recommendations will be key in deciding on the disciplinary measures for players who breach team discipline.
The PCB aims to ensure that all decisions are fair and based on a thorough evaluation of the evidence.
The focus is on maintaining discipline and upholding the expected standards of conduct for national players. The PCB’s approach demonstrates its commitment to transparency and fairness in handling these sensitive matters.
