ISLAMABAD: PPP leader Sharmila Farooqui has indicated that her party is open to forming the next federal government, citing concerns over the performance of the PML-N-led administration.

Farooqui appeared at the private news channel program, she emphasized that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is a prime ministerial candidate with strong support and an unblemished record. She praised Bilawal for his role in negotiating the 26th Constitutional Amendment, describing him as a great leader with a legacy.

PPP leader also responded to comments by Faisal Vawda, who criticized the PML-N as a “bad brand, “and pointed out issues with the current government’s performance, including inflation and the FBR’s failure to meet targets.
