LAHORE: The PESCO board has approved a monthly danger allowance of Rs 7,000 to grid staff, which will be effective immediately.
According to a private channel, the board’s announcement said that this allowance will be for SSO, fitters, test inspectors, and helpers. The allowance was approved in the board meeting.
According to the announcement, this move aims to encourage and ensure the financial security of staff working in dangerous conditions.
PESCO further said that this allowance will be provided to all eligible staff working at the grid station so that their hard work and services in working in dangerous environments can be properly recognized.
