RAWALPINDI: Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA) has taken major action against the illegal Blue World City.
The agency has issued a show-cause notice declaring Blue World City an unapproved housing scheme.
The notice was issued by PHATA Regional Directorate Rawalpindi, accusing the scheme’s management of illegal development and marketing activities.
According to the document, Blue World City has an area of 4180 kanals, 6 marlas, and 78 square feet, which is located in the areas of Mouza Sahal, Habtal, Pind Malho, and Dhalial (Chakri Road).
PHATA has clarified that the scheme has been declared unapproved under Rules 4 and 5(A), while the report of the Deputy Director of Town Planning has identified illegal activities.
The agency has sought a written response from the scheme administration within a week; failing to which legal action will be taken under the PHATA Rules 2020 and Regulations 2025.
A copy of the notice has also been sent to DG PHATA Lahore.
