KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced pilot jobs under its Cadet Pilots Program to recruit 24 new pilots into its crew.
According to a PIA release, the job will be on a two-year contract basis, providing an exciting opportunity to start a flight operation career with the country’s flagship airline.
The eligibility criteria for recruitment include 200 flying hours by each cadet pilot and a valid Commercial Pilot’s License (CPL) issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
In addition, selected candidates will be required to submit a financial bond worth $15,000 as part of the program agreement.
To address a lack of cockpit staff while working to reestablish international lines and improve operations, the airline has also started a separate campaign to hire 20 seasoned commercial pilots.
Candidates who are interested and fit the requirements have been instructed to apply to the PIA HR department within 15 days.
