ISLAMABAD: Islamabad’s female students and teachers are set to benefit from a new transportation initiative launched by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MOFEPT).
The Pink Bus Service will offer complimentary travel on designated routes across the capital, with a fleet of 20 specially allocated buses.
This joint venture between MOFEPT and the district administration aims to tackle the transportation challenges faced by women in accessing educational facilities, addressing the lack of adequate transportation options, particularly for female students and teachers.
The vibrant pink buses will soon hit the roads of Islamabad, providing a dedicated transportation service for female students and teachers. Sporting a unique pink design, these buses will traverse both urban and rural areas of the city.
This aims to connect educational institutions and offer a convenient, cost-free travel solution. This innovative initiative aims to bridge the transportation gap and empower women in education, making it easier for them to access schools and colleges across the federal capital.
