“No one should have any doubt about the stance of the state against terrorists,” PM Kakar declared.

Caretaker Prime Minister, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, announced today that terrorist groups have opted for an “unconditional surrender,” bringing hope for lasting peace and stability in the region.

Addressing the nation from the interior ministry, PM Kakar emphasized the government’s unwavering commitment to eradicate terrorism, stating, “The state will not show any leniency towards terrorists who committed violence and killed innocent citizens.” He made it clear that there would be no negotiations with those responsible for past acts of terror.

Acknowledging the sacrifices made by the families of martyrs, the prime minister extended a call for unity, urging all citizens to support the government’s efforts in creating a secure and peaceful environment. He emphasized that the legitimate right to use armed power rests solely with the state and its security forces.

“No one should have any doubt about the stance of the state against terrorists,” PM Kakar declared. “All organs of the state have the clarity to remain persistent against militancy.”

Reflecting on the surge in terrorism over the past year, especially in regions like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, the prime minister expressed optimism that the surrender of terrorist groups would mark a turning point in the nation’s security landscape.

“I pay tribute to all the martyrs, an unending list of heroes from all sections of society, including police, politicians, journalists, soldiers, and even children,” he said, honoring those who sacrificed their lives for the cause of peace.
