ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) leader Farrukh Khokhar has been arrested by the police.
According to police sources, Farrukh was taken into custody from Naka Zero Point, after which he was transferred to Aabpara police station.
More details are likely to be released by the police soon.
It should be remembered that a few months ago, Farrukh, who belongs to the famous political center Khokhar House in Rawalpindi, met Maulana Fazlur Rehman and joined Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam.
Farrukh Khokhar belongs to the family of former Deputy Speaker National Assembly, Nawaz Khokhar, and former senator and spokesperson of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar.
He is the nephew of Nawaz Khokhar, cousin of Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, and son of Imtiaz Khokhar, alias Taji Khokhar.
