Police ask again Imran Khan to appear in Police Station. Islamabad Police sent yet another notice to former prime minister and PTI Chairman in which he was asked to appear before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) at Margallah police station at 5:00 PM today for questioning in connection with his remarks against a lady magistrate at the party’s rally at the federal capital’s F-9 Park,

PTI chairman was reminded in the notice that he had failed to show up yesterday despite summons. “You are on bail until September 12; so you better appear before the JIT today for questioning,” read the Notice

Imran’s Chief Security Officer Raja Tahir received the Notice.

In his reply submitted to the JIT yesterday, PTI chairman said that he had remained the country’s prime minister, and through his speech he did not mean to cause the magistrate any harm. “Police had tortured party leader Shahbaz Gill during detention because of his political affiliation,” he said, adding, “Even the report submitted to the Islamabad High Court.

“Therefore, the terrorism case was registered against me with a mala fide intent,” he said, and requested the JIT to give him a clean chit in the case.
