Police claims Indian drone shot down in Lahore

LAHORE: Law enforcement agencies shot down an Indian drone in Lahore on Friday, according to police.

They said that as the drone’s movement was discovered on Pakistani land, security authorities swiftly targeted it.

Police sources stated that the gadget looked to be a surveillance drone because no explosives were discovered on it.

According to reports, intelligence authorities have taken control of the drone and initiated an investigation into the situation.

Earlier, at least one FC soldier was martyred and three others were injured in a quadcopter drone attack on the FC check post in Bannu.

According to DPO Bannu Saleem Abbas, a quadcopter drone attack was carried out on an FC check post located in the Takhtikhel area of Baka Khel, in which one officer was martyred, and the three injured officers were shifted to the hospital.

The DPO said that after the incident, the Frontier Corps and the police have launched a search operation in the area.

It should be noted that in Bannu, several police stations, including Hoveed and Miryan, have been attacked with quadcopters in recent times. Last week, the police also foiled the attack and killed three terrorists.
