Thirty newly elected GB members take oath
GILDIT: Political activities have intensified in Gilgit-Baltistan for government formation, according to media reports.
The Pakistan Peoples Party has started contacts with various parties to form a government, and in this regard, the PPP has also contacted the Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen (MWM).
Reports said that the PPP has invited the MWM to join the government; however, the Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen has not yet responded positively to this offer.
Important consultations are also being held during the political contacts. According to reports, the head of the Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, has contacted the Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Barrister Gohar.
Reports added that Allama Raja Nasir Abbas also informed Barrister Gohar about the contacts made by the PPP and the progress related to government formation.
Consultations and contacts are ongoing between different political parties regarding the formation of the government in Gilgit-Baltistan.
