ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Saturday arrested PTI activist Sanam Javed from outside Gujranwala Central Jail as soon as she was released on the orders of the Lahore High Court.
According to the sources, Islamabad police obtained Sanam Javed’s custody from Gujranwala and left for the federal capital.
A day earlier, the Special Anti-Terrorism Court in Gujranwala issued a release order for a PTI activist, originally detained in connection with the May 9 incidents. The order was issued by Judge Naeem Saleem complying with directives from the Lahore High Court.
