PTI expresses disappointment over Supreme Court verdict.

ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Gohar Ali Khan has expressed disappointment following the recent decision by the Supreme Court, he said that PTI candidates to contest elections independently on various symbols, stating that justice should have been served despite the challenging circumstances.

In the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s ruling, Gohar Ali Khan engaged with media representatives, highlighting his concerns over the verdict. He emphasized that the PTI commands the support of 10 crore voters, and despite the setback in the decision, the people of Pakistan will continue to cast their votes in favor of the party founded by Imran Khan.

Addressing reporters, Gohar Ali Khan remarked that the decision is disheartening, especially considering that none of the 14 petitioners, who submitted requests against the party, remained affiliated with PTI. Regardless of the legal challenges, he firmly believes that the citizens of Pakistan will continue to support the PTI at the polls.

Lawyer Ali Zafar also commented on the decision, stating, “The verdict is out, and there’s no turning back.” He assured that PTI candidates would participate in the elections with newfound determination and confidence. Zafar outlined the party’s strategic approach, expressing that PTI remains registered, and the legal battles have not deterred aspiring candidates from contesting in the upcoming elections.
