PTI sets record high in digital viewership on Social Media, reveals report

ISLAMABAD: Digital media expert Asher Azim shared a report regarding the viewership of political parties, leaders, and journalists on the social media platform, YouTube in March 2024.

Taking on X, he said, in March 2024, political vlogs uploaded on 138 digital channels received 300 million views.

Journalist Imran Riaz Khan channel topped the chart for the average viewership per video, followed by Raftaar, and Shahbaz Gill.

Similarly, the digital media channel Naya Pakistan is first, Talk Shows Central is second and Imran Riaz is third in the total viewership of the channel on YouTube in March 2024.

Among the political parties, Tehreek-e-Insaf has 80% viewership claiming the top slot with the Muslim League (N) on second followed by the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), MQM, Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), and Tehreek-e-Labik Pakistan (TLP).

According to the report, PTI founder Imran Khan remained the top-viewed political leader in digital space during March 20224 with 56% viewership. Maryam Nawaz claimed the second slot with Ali Amin Gandapur in third, Sher Afzal Marwat in fourth, and Nawaz Sharif in fifth.
