ISLAMABAD: Ali Zafar said that instead of isolating Afghanistan, it is the need of the hour to adopt the path of dialogue and negotiations. According to him, the involvement and consultation of the local people is indispensable for the elimination of terrorism so that a sustainable strategy can be formulated.

He said that the founder of PTI has always been in favor of dialogue and peace and wants to find a common path with the Afghan leadership.

Talking about the Al-Qadir Trust case, Ali Zafar said that this case is baseless and false, just as many cases ended in the past, this one will also end in court. He said that after the conviction in the High Court, damages should be recovered from those who made false cases. He also called the Toshakhana II case baseless and said that it will end soon.

He alleged that the founder of PTI is being kept in solitary confinement in jail to inflict mental torture; even basic facilities like books and TV have been taken away, but despite this, he is becoming stronger than before.

Ali Zafar said in two words that the founder of PTI will not be part of any deal, and all these political cases are being made only to keep him in jail.

He said that, along with the judicial battle, a political battle will also have to be fought because the support of the people and the role of the leadership are very important at this time.

He expressed confidence that justice will definitely be delivered from the courts, however, the government is trying to suppress the stance of the founder of PTI. Ali Zafar said that banning tweets is a sign of the government’s weakness because social media cannot be shut down, and the narrative should only be answered with a narrative. He was talking on ABN News’ program Tajzia and said that

He revealed that neither sound nor image was heard on the video link of the founder of PTI, on which the hearing was boycotted due to non-fulfillment of legal requirements. According to him, all these steps are proof that the government is trying to suppress the opposition narrative, but the truth will definitely come out through public support and judicial justice.

Hafiz Hamdullah, while talking to ABN News, said that the situation after 9/11 and today’s scenario are completely different. At that time, the five major countries of the UN Security Council were on the same page, but today’s world is clearly divided.

According to him, the US, UK, and France are standing on one side, while China and Russia are on the other, which is creating new tensions in global politics.

He warned that if a new war breaks out in the region, its effects will not be limited to just one country but will affect the entire region, including China, Iran, Russia and Pakistan.

He said that the real benefit of any possible war will only go to India, while Pakistan will be in a weak position, which is already suffering from economic and political difficulties.

Hafiz Hamdullah raised the question of whether Pakistan will support the US or China in the coming days, because this decision will be very important for the country’s future.

According to him, Pakistan’s valuable resources are being sold to American companies at cheap prices, which can prove dangerous not only for the economy but also for national sovereignty. He stressed that in the current circumstances, Pakistan must give wisdom and national interest priority in its foreign policy so that the country does not suffer further losses in the tug-of-war between global powers.
