PTI leveling allegations against CEC to hide its crimes: Ahsan Iqbal

ISLAMABAD: Secretary General of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and former interior minister Ahsan Iqbal has said that the government is attacking the institutions, adding that the double standard should be stopped for PML-N. He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is leveling allegations against the Chief Election Commissioner Dr. Sikandar Sultan Raja to hide its crimes. He said that the electoral reforms package is rigging package.
Talking to the media persons outside the accountability court after appearing in Naroval Sports City Complex case, Ahsan Iqbal stated that he had released Rs 3200 billion funds as planning minister, adding that if any corruption has been committed it should be brought before masses.
He said the public has become aware that the PTI could not run the government, adding that the dacoity was committed on the votes of masses in Daska and report regarding the matter is about the come. He added that the decision is coming against PTI, so they are putting pressure on Election Commission. He said that the name of election commissioner was suggested by the government, which was accepted by the opposition.
He said that the decisions of Supreme Court of Pakistan are being violated, adding that we will hold accountability of this blue eyed. Ahsan Iqbal said that he raised the issue of Narowal Sports Complex in National Assembly on Monday, adding that 90 percent project was completed but it was victimized.
