PTI rules out unconditional talks, sets clear preconditions

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information Shafi Jan has said that we will not hold unconditional talks.

Speaking on a private TV program, Shafi Jan said that all responsibility has been entrusted to Mahmood Achakzai and Allama Nasir Abbas, and whatever decision Mahmood Achakzai makes, the PTI will accept it.

He said that we will not hold unconditional talks. Our conditions for talks include holding new elections, holding general elections under a new Election Commissioner, and access of party leaders and family to the founder of PTI.

Shafi Jan said that if the government is ready to implement these conditions, then we are ready for talks. If there is a talk with the government, it will be on these points.
