PTI seeks approval for Grand Jalsa at Minar-e-Pakistan to celebrate Imran Khan’s birthday

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has requested the Deputy Commissioner of Lahore to hold a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan on the occasion of party founder Imran Khan’s birthday, here on Tuesday.

As per the details, Akmal Khan, the leader of PTI Punjab, while submitting a request to the Deputy Commissioner’s office, said that October 5 is the birthday of the founder of the party and the public gathering should be allowed.

It added: “Tehreek-e-Insaaf is the largest party in the country. We want to hold a public meeting on October 5th from 5pm to 10pm. We should be allowed to celebrate our leader’s birthday.

“All the participants will strictly follow all the rules and regulations. Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Tahirul Qadri also met at Minar-e-Pakistan.
