LAHORE: Public transport fares have been reduced after petrol and diesel became cheaper.
The Punjab Transport Department has reduced inter-district fares, and bus fares from Lahore to other cities have been reduced.
Fares have been reduced by Rs 60 to Rs 200. The fare from Lahore to Islamabad has been reduced from Rs 1910 to Rs 1850, while the fare from Lahore to Murree has been reduced from Rs 2370 to Rs 2290.
The fare from Lahore to Peshawar has been reduced from Rs 2610 to Rs 2530, the fare from Lahore to Mansehra has been reduced from Rs 2500 to Rs 2420, and the fare from Lahore to Abbottabad has been reduced from Rs 2310 to Rs 2240.
The fare from Lahore to Faisalabad has been reduced from Rs 1010 to Rs 980, the fare from Lahore to Sadiqabad has been reduced from Rs 2510 to Rs 2430, and the fare from Lahore to Karachi has been reduced from Rs 5800 to Rs 5620.
