LAHORE: The provincial government of Punjab has started distributing money orders to underprivileged families under the Nigahban Ramzan Package 2025 ahead of the start of the holy month.

This year, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has decided to provide Rs10,000 in cash to three million low-income and deserving families instead of essential items.

This amount will help people buy essential items so that they can celebrate the holy month with ease.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has stressed the importance of carrying out the initiative with high standards of integrity. She has directed the administration to take steps that ensure transparency at every step, from registration to final distribution of aid.

Equally important is its insistence on treating recipients with respect and ensuring an end to long queues and delays. This approach ensures that the program is not just about providing financial or material assistance but also about protecting the dignity of its beneficiaries.

The Nigahban Ramadan Package is more than just a welfare initiative. It is a manifestation of the government’s heartfelt commitment to the betterment of vulnerable communities. It is a symbol of service rooted in devotion and compassion, providing relief to those who need it most during the holy month of fasting and reflection.

This initiative reaffirms the Punjab government’s belief that public service is not just a responsibility but an opportunity to provide comfort and care to millions of people. Citizens are encouraged to take advantage of this program by registering through the online portal or seeking assistance from their local offices. For further assistance, the helpline is just a call away. TheNigahban Ramadan Package is not only a support system but also a gesture of solidarity and humanity, ensuring that no one is left behind during this blessed time.
